Priority Deadlines
Prospective students interested in starting the Pre-Health Post-Baccalaureate Certificate should apply to Loyola by the following dates:
- Priority deadline for summer admission: April 8
- Final deadline: May 1
- Priority deadline for fall admission: April 8
- Final deadline: August 1
- Priority deadline for spring admission: October 1
- Final deadline: December 1

The Pre-Health Post-Bacc Program is considered a fifth year of undergraduate studies and students can qualify to borrow student loans under certain conditions. Students enrolled in this program are not eligible for scholarship or grant assistance from Loyola or the federal government.

Criminology & Justice Minors
The Criminology and Justice program offers two minors: Criminology and Justice and Forensic Science.
The minor in Criminology and Justice allows students majoring in other academic disciplines to explore criminal justice as a field of study. Master of Criminology & Justice
Criminal justice and private security are one of the fastest growing areas in terms of employment, and an advanced degree is becoming a necessity.
The Master of Criminology & Justice online degree program responds to the need for professionally-trained criminal justice administrators, planners and researchers as well as private security professionals. The Master of Criminology & Justice curriculum at Loyola is a 30 credit online program that can be completed in one year. Courses are taught year round.
Bachelor of Criminology & Justice
At Loyola University New Orleans, you’ll study the structure of the justice system, the ethical questions surrounding the imprisonment and rehabilitation process, and the operation of homeland security and the Supreme Court so that you have the tools to make a career out of sustaining justice. This is an evening/online program.
