There are many opportunities at Loyola for students interested in legal careers. Students can pursue concentrations in Pre-Law History or Pre-Law Philosophy, or choose any other major at Loyola that best fits their strengths and interests. Any student can apply to law school with any undergraduate major, as Loyola's diverse curriculum equips all students with the tools and skills necessary for success in law school.

Pre-Law Advising can assist students with choosing majors or minors, advise on course selection, collaborate on customizing an individualized application timeline, offer feedback on personal statements and resumes, and guide you through the law school application process.

3 + 3 Accelerated Degree Program to Law School

Loyola College of Law offers an accelerated degree program for eligible Loyola undergraduates. If admitted, students enroll as full-time law students during what would otherwise be their senior year. At the successful conclusion of that year, the BA or BS is awarded. After two more years of full-time law study, the JD is awarded. This program enables students to receive the BA/BS and the JD in as few as six years.
