World Cleanup Day 2026

The Results are in for World Cleanup Day 2026!

The World Cleanup Day Team wants to extend a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you for your participation in World Cleanup Day! Your enthusiasm and commitment to cleaning up our environment made a significant impact in our community. 222 participants were able to collect 358 lbs. of litter, 47 lbs. of recyclables, and 10 lbs. of compost from the Carrollton & Black Pearl neighborhoods. Together, we demonstrated the power of teamwork and showed that small actions can lead to big changes. Whether you picked up litter, volunteered to serve, or inspired others to join in, your efforts truly made a difference. Let’s keep the momentum going and continue to advocate for a cleaner, healthier planet. Be on the lookout for more participation in the next community cleanup and more environmentally-based events during the Loyola University Earth Week from April 16th through 22nd! Thank you once again for your dedication and hard work!
