Student Historical Journal

In 1966, in an effort to recognize outstanding student research and writing, the Department of History and the Loyola University Student Historical Association began publication of The Loyola University Student Historical Journal. Once established in the 70s, Pi Chi Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, the international history honor society, joined the effort. It is Loyola's oldest journal devoted to publishing undergraduate research, and also the University's first journal to go on-line, though print editions will continue to appear.
