Environment Program Roundtable: "Sustainable Living" Photos

Check out photos from our last Roundtable!

Mark Tobler, Keep Loyola Beautiful Coordinator, and Christian Ryan, executive director of Green Light New Orleans, talk about living sustainability in the city. Green Light New Orleans is an environmental nonprofit that demonstrates how individual actions can create collective impact. From changing 600,000 light bulbs to installing rain barrels that help reduce flooding and capture over 16 million gallons of rainwater citywide, their work empowers residents to take sustainability into their own hands.

We also discussed sustainable practices on Loyola’s campus, like EV chargers, bioswales, glass recycling, and solar-powered buildings. Students got the opportunity to share their ideas for a more sustainable campus. Together, we’re building a more resilient campus and community.
