Dr. Talukdar presents paper at the 105th annual meeting of the American Sociological Association August 14 - 17 in Atlanta, Georgia. 

In August 2010 political science major, Alexander Tan, won Best Advocate Award for a mock trial competition hosted by John Marshall Law School in Chicago, IL.  Alex was selected as one of 24 students from across the country to attend this program.

Dr. Anthony Ladd weighed in on the psychological affects of the BP oil spill in a recent interview with Truthout, a forum dedicated to broadening the political discussion.

English Alumna Shelley Workinger ('00) recently published SETTLING, the second book in her popular young adult series.

Jamal Lawson participated in the Summer Mathematics Research Experience for Undergraduates program at Brigham Young University.

Allegra Hartman and David Garcia present their research on body image, disordered eating patterns, and identity development of college students at two conferences.

Lauren Cherneski, Ancient and Medieval Studies major, will begin attending the University of Exeter in England in the fall in order to pursue a master’s degree in Medieval Studies.
