Professor Doosey wins Department of Wildlife and Fisheries State Wildlife Grant

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries State Wildlife Grant Program has funded Professor Mike Doosey's project entitled "Natural History, Key Habitat Preferences, and Abundance of Gulf Chub (Macrhybopsis tomellerii), a Fish Species of Greatest Conservation Need in Louisiana." The project will be active for two years starting January 1, 2027
