Loyola University celebrated the centennial of the birth of southern Catholic writer Flannery O'Connor by screening "Everything That Rises Must Converge," which is a theatrical adaptation of O'Connor's short story of the same title. Director Karin Coonrod and members of the Compagnia de' Colombari theatre company: KenYatta Rogers and Carlton Taylor, as well as Dr. Angela Alaimo O'Donnell, Fordham University, were present to engage the audience in conversation regarding O'Connor's work and the production after the screening. This event was held in Nunemaker Hall on Monday evening, November 17th, and was sponsored by the Rev. Stephen J. Duffy chair in Catholic Studies and the Canizaro Center for Catholic Studies.
