Lucy McCain Headed to Graduate School at Southeastern

 Lucy McCain ('26 Environmental Science) will begin a master's program in biology at Southeastern Louisiana University this Fall. Ms. McCain's Honors thesis was on cuchia (ophichthys cuchia), which is a species of obligate air-breathing swamp eel from Southeast Asia that was discovered in Bayou St. John in New Orleans in the summer of 2019. It is native to Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Nepal, and Pakistan.
