Loyola is a Top Producing Gilman Institution

Loyola University New Orleans has been recognized as one of the top-producing institutions for Gilman Scholars across the 25-year history of the Gilman Program, the Center for International Education announced today.

The U.S. Department of State’s Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program provides merit-based scholarships to talented American undergraduate students with high financial need to study or intern abroad for academic credit. This program was established by the U.S. Congress in 2001 and is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2026. This national recognition highlights our institution’s strong commitment to expanding access to global learning opportunities for our students.
