Loyola Presents Research to Lawmakers
On the first day of the 2026 Louisiana State Legislature Regular Session, eight Loyola students joined their peers from across the state for the second annual Posters at the Capitol event in Baton Rouge. Loyola undergraduate researchers and their mentors presented their results to Louisiana lawmakers, scientists, and members of the public. Their work showcased ongoing research projects at Loyola in biomedicine, forensic chemistry, bioengineering, chemical synthesis, and many other important fields.
