Matt Deaton Speaks about the Ethics Bowl
Dr. Matt Deaton, of EthicsBowl.org and Lecturer at Pellissippi State Community College, gave the public lecture, “Ethics Bowl to the Rescue! Saving Democracy by Transforming Debate” on 3/10/26 in Thomas Hall’s Whitney Room. Dr. Deaton praised the virtues of Ethics Bowl as a model for public reason and deliberation. The event was sponsored by the Departments of Philosophy and Political Science as well as the University Honors Program.
