Emeritus Professor Jim Wee published an article in the Proceedings of the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia. The title of the article is "Diatom and other algal herbarium holdings in Iowa, USA." Research collections of diatoms at Iowa Lakeside Laboratory (Reimer Herbarium, ILH) and Iowa State University (Ada Hayden Herbarium, ISC) are being converted to a digital format so they are available to users worldwide. The contents of these collections and related information are described. Avenues for access are being developed.
