Celebrating Father Carter" Friday, July 31, 12:30 p.m., Holy Name of Jesus Church

We hope you will join us for a Memorial Mass in Honor of Reverend James C. Carter, S.J., Ph.D.

On Friday, May 22, the Jesuit community lost Reverend James C. Carter, S.J., Ph.D., Loyola University New Orleans' longest-serving president and one of the most influential leaders in our history. On the Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola, we invite the Loyola community to come together to celebrate Father Carter's remarkable life, enduring legacy, and steadfast commitment to our Jesuit mission.

A memorial Mass will begin at 12:30 p.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Church, followed by a reception in the President's Suite on the second floor of Marquette Hall.
