Faculty members in the College of Arts and Sciences swept the university's Senate Excellent Awards and Marquette Fellowships, which were announced at the President’s Convocation on January 23, 2026.
2026 Marquette Fellowship Recipients
- Amrita Datta, Assistant Professor in Biological Sciences
- Title of Project: Project Know Cancer (PKC): A youth initiative, addressing the gaps in cancer literacy and prevention through peer-led education with the overarching goal of "Know Cancer to No Cancer."
- Michael Doosey, Assistant Professor in Biological Sciences
- Title of Project: Vertebrae Development and Segmentation in the Caudal Region of Bony Fishes.
- Laurie Earls, Assistant Professor in Biological Sciences
- Title of Project: Mechanism of a Novel Micropeptide That Impacts Memory in the Aging Brain
- Allison Edgren, Assistant Professor in History
- Title of Project: For They are Unfamiliar with the Language and the Land: Charitable Support for Refugees in Fifteenth-Century Vienna.
