Katie Buc (ENVS '26) Receives French Quarter Fest Internship

Katie Buc was selected as the Sustainability Intern for the French Quarter Festivals Inc. She will be assisting the Operations Department in planning and implementing the Geauxing Green Sustainability Program at the French Quarter Festival 2026. The goal of this program is to reduce recycling, compostable, or reusable materials from entering landfills. In 2025, they diverted over 44% of the materials created or used at the French Quarter Festival from landfills.
