Alumnus and Former Board of Trustees Member Jared Schoch Publishes His First Book

Jared Schoch's first book, Solar Coaster, is the story of the US solar industry told through the eyes of a leader who rode its wild highs and crushing lows for nearly two decades. From boardrooms to backroads, Schoch ('97) reveals the inside battles over clean energy, the political storms that shaped an industry, and the personal journey that transformed his life. Schoch is the founder and chairperson of TurningPoint Industry and was its president from 2014 to 2023.
