Achievements

Dr. Anthony Ladd's article "Pandora's Well: Hubris, Deregulation, Fossil Fuels, and the BP Oil Disaster in the Gulf" has been accepted for publication in American Behavioral Scientist.

After a year of hard work, The Maroon was awarded the prestigious Mark of Excellence Award for best all-around non-daily student newspaper in the region by the Society of Professional Journalists. 

Dr. Fitzgerald presented a paper at the Midwest Sociological Society Annual Meeting in St. Louis, MO.

With questions surrounding U.S. involvement in the Libyan conflict, Professor Conrad Raabe, who specializes in foreign policy issues, sits down with Dennis Woltering.

Wayne Mitchell has been accepted and will be attending an REU in Theoretical and Computational Neuroscience at Rice University in the summer of 2011.

To be eligible for the NAIA Scholar-Athlete Award, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
