French Alum Tom Macom and other Loyola alums start Cirque magazine. Cirque includes news features, fashion features, a section curated by the New Orleans Photo Alliance, and some art, literature
and satire.

Dr. Nathan Henne, assistant professor of Latin American Literature and Spanish, won the Marquette to produce a translation of Guatemalan author and indigenous activist Luis de Lión’s 1975 novel El tiempo principia en Xibalba (Time Begins in Xibalba).

French alum, Katherine Karcher, prestigious grad program in French at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Spanish major, Matt McCabe, has been named to the NAIA Men’s Basketball Daktronics Scholar-Athlete list.
