Achievements

Professor Kondkar was awarded a Marquette Faculty Fellowship for the Summer of 2009 for his research, “Intimate Partner Homicide: Exploring the Relationship between Race, Gender, Law and Violence."

Nathalie Delise presented her paper, To Tip or Not To Tip: The Social Norm of Restaurant Tipping in the United States," at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse held April 16th - 18th, 2009.

Samuel Burgess '98 coauthored two grant applications to the National Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Both of the grants have been funded. The grants, totaling more than 2 million dollars, will fund HIV prevention efforts in Louisiana communities disproportionately affected by HIV/AIDS.

Oliver Bonke '87 was named the senior vice president, sales and marketing for the Europe, Africa and Middle East Division. He leads the sales and marketing for the organization.
