On Friday, October 26, 2012 POLS Major, Martin Quintero, prepared Venezuelan cuisine for an International Student Association (ISA) event. The ISA is an organization that works to foster cultural understanding, combat stereotypes and promote diversity on Loyola's campus.
On October 30, 2012, Dr. Natasha Bingham and POLS major, Marlee Clayton, present research entitled, "The Impact of Economic Downturns on Parental Leave Discourses in the European Union."
Mirya Holman, Ph.D., '04 received her Ph.D. from Claremont Graduate University in American Politics and Public Policy and her BA from Loyola University New Orleans in Political Science and History.
At the 2012 College of Social Sciences Honors Convocation Kristen Lee was awarded the Outstanding Academic Achievement and Community Service Award. This award is presented to the graduating senior with the highest record of academic achievement and community service.
