In May, 2012 the Office of Student Affairs congratulated Dwayne Fontenette as being selected as one of the twenty-five premier members of the Loyola Aurum Society.  This award is to recognize the success of junior and senior students who have shown exemplary leadership to Loyola and New Orleans communities and have maintained high academic standards.

Currently a junior, Dwayne is double majoring in political science and mass communication.

Aurum is the Latin word for gold.
