Start Earning Your Master’s Degree in Public Health While You Complete Your Undergraduate Studies
Loyola University New Orleans has partnered with the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine to create a unique career development opportunity for undergraduate students at Loyola. Students enrolled in Loyola’s Bachelor or Arts and Bachelor of Science in Public Health degree programs, as well as other majors who are interested in public health, may choose to apply to Tulane’s Master of Public Health (MPH), Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine (MPHTM), or Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) program starting in the spring of their junior year or fall of their senior year. Students will earn credit toward their master’s degree and can also transfer up to 15 credits from their master’s studies toward their undergraduate degree.

How to Apply
Qualified students will be recommended by Loyola’s Public Health liaison to apply to the program. To apply, undergraduate students must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and submit a statement of purpose and objectives, resume, and three letters of recommendation. International students must demonstrate proficiency in English with a score of at least 89 on the TOEFL or 6.5 on the IELTS. Applications are due either May 1 of the student’s junior year or December 1 of their senior year.
