Loyola has many resources to keep students connected and to ensure they are properly equipped to succeed. Here are a few of the resources you can look forward to.
Student Success Center
The student success center assists students in discovering their strengths and pursuing a plan to apply them beyond the university. The student success center offers job postings, career fairs, on-campus interviews, and professional development events to connect Loyola students with internships, part- and full-time jobs, and graduate schools.
Advising
We want to ensure that each student thinks about college as a long-term investment, making educated decisions about a future that meets their goals, interests, and values. An important part of assisting students with defining and – ultimately – achieving their personal and academic goals is helping them explore the college landscape, building a foundational knowledge of resources and strategies for success.
Our staff of advisors meets with students throughout the year. The majority of our meetings with students are one-on-one, with each session’s topics of discussion determined and prioritized by the student.
Canvas - Pre-Health Website
The Canvas Pre-Health Website is the main hub for current Pre-Health students to stay connected with information pertaining to Pre-Health. This information includes upcoming events, such as semester health career seminars, opportunities, including new internships in New Orleans, and information about various health-related careers and how to apply to graduate programs.
