Phillips and Dupuis present at Social Psychology Conference

Corey Phillips, Senior Psychology major, and Dr. Erin Dupuis, Assistant Professor in Psychological Sciences, presented work at the 12th Annual Society for Personality and Social Psychology conference in San Antonio (January, 2011). Their poster presented results from a computer literacy program conducted at a local homeless shelter. Their results indicate that computer literacy increases perceived control in homeless men. They will continue their research this semester with additional support from a large grant overseen by Goodwill Industries.
