The Psychology Department's Senior Research/Thesis Course spans a period of one year. During this time, students propose research studies, collect data, and analyze their results. On December 8, 2010, six Psychology majors presented their research at the Psychology Undergraduate Research Symposium. The students researched attitudes toward drug testing welfare recipients, undergraduate's self-esteem and fear of negative evaluation, effects of time constraints on decision making, spirituality and adjustment to college, effects of one versus two-parent families on attitudes toward romatic relationships, and social support's relation to physical and mental health. Congratulations to our students for their interesting and professional research presentations!
