Frank Jordan, Ph.D., chair and professor of biological sciences, along with two Loyola University New Orleans alumnae, have co-authored an article in the American Society of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists journal, Copeia.

Dr. Jordan's article, "Variation in Reproductive Life History Traits between Two Populations of Blackbanded Darters (Percina nigrofasciata)" is co-authored with biological sciences alumnae Myra C. Hughey '03, and Bridget A. Ory '01.

Hughey recently completed her Ph.D. at Boston University and is an evolutionary ecologist.  Ory completed her MD at LSU and is an assistant professor at LSUHSC.
