Dr. Paul Barnes recently attended the "World Congress on Light and Life" in Barcelona, Spain, where he presented a poster together with Dr. Susanne Neugart entitled “Different irradiances of UV and PAR in the same ratios alter the flavonoid profiles of Arabidopsis thaliana wild-types and UV-signally pathway mutants.”  At the conference Dr. Barnes also met with other members of the Managing Committee of the International Association for Plant UV Research to discuss society business and plans for next year's meeting in Germany.
