Biological Sciences Professor Dr. David A. White presented the Regional Botany Special Lecture at the Botanical Society of America Annual Meeting held in New Orleans July 27 – 31, 2013. Dr. White’s Lecture, entitled  The Geological and Natural History of Coastal Louisiana from the Perspective of a Wetland Plant Landscape Ecologist - and a lover of plants  focuses on how physical, ecological, and human processes have shaped our coastal landscapes.
