Biology graduate is head of pediatrics at Gheskio Center in Port-au-Prince, Haiti

Biology alumna, Vanessa Rouzier-Taley is head of pediatrics at GHESKIO CENTER in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. GHESKIO CENTER was the first institution in the world dedicated to the fight against HIV/AIDS. GHESKIO has provided continuous medical care in Haiti since 1982 - never once shutting its doors or charging fees. Since the January 12th, 2010 earthquake GHESKIO is providing humanitarian assistance and emergency care to those affected by the disaster and continues to provide life-saving medications to people with HIV/AIDS.

Dr. Rouzier-Taley is a co-author with Dr. Patricia Dorn on a 2003 article published in the Journal of Medical Entomology. She is also a co-author on four abstracts presented at national meetings (1st author on one for the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene annual meeting).
Dr. Rouzier-Taley graduated from McGill medical school in Canada.
