Biology graduate co-authors paper on effects of human handling on smallmouth bass

Melissa A. Kaintz, a 2003 graduate in the Biology department, recently published "Dispersal of Smallmouth Bass from a Simulated Tournament Weigh-In Site." She is currently working at the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, Office of Fisheries, Inland Fisheries Division in LaCombe, Louisiana. Ms. Kaintz will present insights on her fish research at a Biology Research Seminar being held November 9, 2010 at 12:30 pm in Monror Hall, Room 157. Come out and here one of our alums in action.
