Hailey Fox (B.A., Classical Studies, '09) received a full scholarship to Baylor Law. While attending Baylor, Hailey served as the Notes and Comments Editor for the Baylor Law Review, competed with the Baylor Law Moot Court Team, and was an Intra-school Moot Court Judge for the Order of the Barristers. After receiving the Steven Dillard Practice Court Award and graduating cum laude in 2013, Hailey joined the firm of Shipley Snell Montgomery LLC in Houston, TX.
Samantha Urso (B.A., Classical Studies, '14) participated for two seasons in an excavation at the site of Prastio Mesorotsos, Cyprus, sponsored by the University of Edinburgh and under the supervision of Dr. Andrew McCarthy (Classical Studies '95), director of the Cyprus American Archaeological Research Institute of America.
Samantha Urso (B.A., Classical Studies, '14) is a graduate student in Classics at the University of Oregon; she received a full scholarship and stipend to attend and will complete her MA next year. Sami has also spent two summers doing archaeological fieldwork at the site of Prastio-Mesorotsos on Cyprus under the supervision of Dr. Connie Rodriguez of Loyola New Orleans and Dr. Andrew McCarthy of the Cyprus American Archaeological Research Institute; Dr. McCarthy is himself an alumnus of Classical Studies at Loyola.
Ly Vo (B.A., Classical Studies, '12) is part of the team of teachers at the Arise Academy in New Orleans historic 9th Ward, a K-12 charter school dedicated educating students and to serving the community. Ly teaches both science and history.
Aristophanes’ Wealth, translated and adapted by Dr. Karen Rosenbecker and directed by Professor Artemis Preeshl of Loyola's Theater department, was preformed at the 146th Annual Meeting of the Society for Classical Studies in New Orleans, Louisiana, 8 January 2015.

Tom Sevick (Environmental Biology '12) is now working on a graduate degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Southern Mississippi where his research evaluates the value of major marsh habitats to fishes and crustaceans in coastal Mississippi. One of the ways he evaluates these habitats involves taking aerial picture of marsh, such as the one shown here.
Dr. Catherine Wessinger was featured in the American Academy of Religion's special January 2015 "Spotlight on Teaching" which focused on "Teaching New and Alternative Religious Movements".
