About our speakers

Linda Aiken

Linda Aiken, RN, Ph.D., FAAN, is the Claire M. Fagin Leadership Professor of Nursing and Sociology and Director of the Center for the Health Outcomes and Policy Research. Dr. Aiken co-directs RN4CAST, a study of the nursing workforce and quality of hospital care in 14 countries in Europe, China, South Africa and Botswana. She is an expert on the causes, consequences, and solutions for the nurse shortage.

Sharon Krumm

Sharon Krumm, RN, Ph.D., is the Clinical Administrator and Director of Nursing at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center in The Johns Hopkins Hospital. She is responsible for all aspects of clinical operations including oncology nursing at the Johns Hopkins International Medical Center in Singapore. She is an expert on the Johns Hopkins work environment model.

Caryl Goodyear-Bruch

Caryl Goodyear-Bruch, RN, PhD, CCRN, is the president of the board of directors of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. She is a critical care specialist at the University of Kansas Hospital and an associate professor in the School of Allied Health’s Nurse Anesthesia department at the KU Medical Center.

Sarah Holt

Sarah Holt, Ph.D., is the Director of the Southeast Missouri Hospital Breast Care and Diagnostics Center. She is a regular guest lecturer at Saint Louis University and board member of the American College of Medical Practice Executives. She is an expert on the topic of Social/ Emotional Intelligence.
