Dr. Paul Buehler is the Assistant Dean for the College of Arts and Sciences. Dr. Buehler arrived at Loyola in 2005 as a Master's student in the department of Religious Studies. After completing his M.A. in 2007, he pursued his doctorate in early modern European history at the Division for Late Medieval and Reformation Studies at the University of Arizona. While completing his dissertation, he earned a Fulbright fellowship for 2011-2012, which facilitated research in Vienna, Austria. Dr. Buehler's research and teaching interests include the Christianization of Europe, the Reformation and the Renaissance, and the history of books and censorship.
