Introduction to GIS course will focus on how to map anything!
This Spring 2019 course will focus on how to map anything, including the science, aesthetics, and techniques associated with the cartographic analysis. This course will include guided lab sessions that are designed to introduce the students to mapping within a GIS environment.
Special emphasis will be placed on GPS, GIS, and remote sensing that you use every day and that form the basis of modern cartography.

Prerequisites: Investigating Nature or permission from the instructor.
