Physical Requirements

You must be an able-bodied adult in order to travel to Mars. You must be at least:

• 100 pounds
• 5 feet tall
• Be able to survive on a restricted diet

Relationships

Say so long to your loved ones. You won’t be seeing them for awhile. It takes approximately two years to travel to Mars.

Families must travel to Mars together

If you’re planning on taking your husband, sister, brother, mother, cousin with you on the trip to Mars, get ready for close quarters. You’re going to be traveling together for a very long time. Be sure to bring lots of movies to watch and lots of books. Don’t bring anything that you might fight over.
