The English department sponsors four programs abroad: The Irish Studies Summer program in Dublin, The Paris Summer Program in Paris, the semester program at Keele University in the UK, and the semester program at Radboud University in The Netherlands. All programs are open to Loyola students in good standing at the university.
Summer Study Abroad in Paris
The Paris program offers courses in English, Art, Music, and French Culture, and in Philosphy; students wishing to take a French course may do so, but the regular classes are taught in English by Loyola professors. For more information and to apply, see Loyola's Center for International Education

Semester/Year Abroad: Keele University, UK
The study abroad program in the UK is at Keele University in the Midlands. 1.5 hours by train from London, .5 hours by train to Birmingham and 1 hour by train to Manchester, Keele University offers students an on campus experience on a beautiful campus with state of the art facilities. Semester/Year Abroad: Radboud University, The Netherlands
The study abroad program in The Netherlands is taught in English by Radboud University professors. Students may take courses in all areas of study. The campus is located in the oldest city in Then Netherlands, Nijmegen, first settled by Romans. It is also the center for much World War II research, and it has an excellent concert hall and the largest independent theater complex in The Netherlands.
