The Department of English offers academic credit to students for internships with participating organizations. Internships offer supervised field experience with a primary focus on writing and research, and are designed to enhance students' academic training. Students explore professional interests, gain practical work experience, and develop a professional portfolio, while connecting with the greater New Orleans community.
