Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Kelly Wilson came to New Orleans for her undergraduate education and fell in love with the city and its people. Two decades later, she is raising her two children to cheer for the New Orleans Saints. She received her MFA in Creative Writing from the University of New Orleans and her BA in English Literature from Tulane University, where she was honored with the John Kennedy Toole Scholarship for emerging writers. Wilson has spent over a decade as an Instructor of English at Loyola University and works as a freelance grant writer and fundraising consult for nonprofits in New Orleans.
