Emily Capdeville earned her M.F.A. in Creative Writing with a specialty in Fiction from the University of New Orleans. She earned an M.A. in International Studies from the University of Oregon, and a B.A. in French and Sociology from Loyola University New Orleans. Her fiction appears in the Crab Orchard Review and in 2016 she won the William-Faulkner Wisdom prize for Novel-in-Progress.
