Kate Adams, Chair of the English Department, has published 15 books. Her favorites are A Group of Their Own: College Writing Courses and American Women Writers, Progressive Politics and the Training of America's Persuaders, and Easy Access Handbook, which is going into its fourth edition. Her latest book, Alice Paul and the American Suffrage Campaign, Controlling Representations: Depictions of Women in a Mainstream Newspaper, 1900-1950 was published in 2008.
