Social Justice Scholar presents paper about Loyola and the Freret Neighborhood Center

Kylie Faure, a Social Justice Scholar, recently co-presented a paper about her service learning project at the Freret Neighborhood Center at the Gulf-South Summit on Service Learning and Civic Engagement through Higher Education.

Faure, who is majoring in Criminal Justice, presented the paper "Brining Sociology to Life: Loyola and the Freret Neighborhood Center" with Loyola's Director of Service Learning, Kelly Brotzman, and Department of Sociology Chairwoman Sue Mennino.

The Gulf-South Summit on Service Learning and Civic Engagement through Higher Education was held March 3-5 at the University of Georgia.
