Dr. Anthony Ladd, Professor of Sociology, was an invited speaker at the Impact of Environmental Disasters On Vulnerable Populations Conference at Dillard University, March 25-26, 2012. He also presented research papers on the impacts and conflicts surrounding gas fracking in Louisiana at the Southern Sociological Society meetings in New Orleans, March 22-24, as well as the Midwest Sociological Society meetings in Minneapolis, MN, March 29-31, 2012.
