Students Successfully Build 16-Band Audio Spectrum Analyzer

Students of the Loyola University Physics Department recently completed the build of a 16-band audio spectrum analyzer. The goal of project was to build an electronic device that is capable of filtering the frequencies of an audio signal from 20Hz to 20 kHz across 16 channels while displaying the level of each channel on a corresponding 10-segment bar graph. With the assistance of Dr. Rousseau, the students involved in the project were Cody Smith, Andrew Eddins, Coleman Green, Jake Rubin, and William Bagget.
