Campus Litter Clean Up

Recently, students in the Foundations of Environmental Studies class participated in Loyola’s annual campus litter survey collecting over 21 pounds of litter from 7 areas across the main campus. The litter survey is part of our Keep Loyola Beautiful (KLB) university affiliation under the Keep Louisiana Beautiful statewide organization. The survey was conducted with their Environment Program professor, Dr. Veronica Del Bianco, KLB coordinator Mark Tobler and Environmental Justice Scholar Katie Buc (ENVB ’26). Keep Loyola Beautiful will be conducting another campus clean-up on Tuesday, April 23 during Earth Week as part of Love The Boot Week.
