Introduction to GIS course will focus on how to map anything!
This course will focus on how to map anything, including the science, aesthetics, and techniques associated with catographic analysis. This course will include guided lab sessions that are designed to introduce the students to mapping within a GIS environment.
Special emphasis will be placed on GPS, GIS and remote sensing that you use every day and that form the basis of modern catography.

Prerequisites: Investigating Nature or permission from the instructor.
