Telemundo anchor and Emmy award-winning journalist Maria Celeste Arrarás '82 recently returned home to Loyola University New Orleans, on April 8, 2016 to film a future segment for Telemundo celebrating her 30 years in television. The Times-Picayune featured the visit on the front page of its April 14 edition.
During her visit, she taught a class in Loyola's School of Mass Communication, spoke to students and faculty, and visited the school's new broadcast studio. Arrarás will be inducted into the School of Mass Communication's "Den of Distinction" on May 20.
