The School of Mass Communication hosted the Lunch & Learn series starting Wednesday, Sept. 15 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in room 332 of the Communications/Music building.  The series will feature discussions led by the members of the SMC faculty, based on their latest research projects. Guests are invited to bring their own lunches.

Dr. Cathy Rogers and Professor Valerie Andrews hosted the first installment of the series, discussing their joint paper, “The RFP Solution: One Response to Public Relations Client/Services Learner Issues.” This paper was awarded first place in the Public Relations Division of this year’s AEJMC Conference.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase to the Loyola community the incredible work being done by the School of Mass Communication faculty,“ said Dr. Sonya Duhe, director of the SMC.

Dr. David Myers will lead a discussion on his recently published book, Play Redux: The Anti-Aesthetic of Computer Games, on Wednesday, Oct, 6. On Wednesday, Nov. 17, Professor David Zemmels will host the last installment of the semester with a discussion on his dissertation, “@home, eWork and iSelf: Exploring Social Media.”
