Loyola PRSSA Chapter wins National Conference Pacesetter award

The Loyola Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) Chapter received the Pacesetter award at this year's PRSSA National Conference in Washington D.C. The award is given to the Chapter that demonstrates the most energy, dedication, professionalism and enthusiasm to PRSSA during the National Conference.

"The award is a true honor. It's wonderful to see that our students are setting high standards at the National Conference," said Dr. Cathy Rogers, the Loyola PRSSA advisor.

The PRSSA representatives attended various seminars over the weekend and had the opportunity to network with public relations professionals from across the country.

"I campaigned for it with the help of the mannequin arm but the Saints beads, the fabulous Loyola gear and the Saints Who Dat Chant is really what convinced the other presidents, who vote for the winning Chapter, to choose Loyola," said Loyola PRSSA President Ashley Stevens.
