Raven Richard ’14 is the newest TV news reporter at KNDO/KNDU in Yakima, Washington.

The Little Rock, Arkansas, native is on-air five days a week as a general assignment reporter.

Richard said she is adjusting to life on the west coast, but it was tough at first.

“Moving to an entirely different city was very scary and exciting at the same time. Not only was not knowing anyone a big change, but having to find an apartment in a city I've never visited was a bit challenging and scary too,” said Richard.

Richard is also using the skills she learned at Loyola on the job every day.

“I found that finding stories in a city you know nothing about is difficult, but you just have to be creative and dig,” said Richard.
